It is one of my FAVORITE stores in Seattle, which got me thinking about a feature on Ted's wonderfully sweet beach cottage on Vashon Island in a few magazines a bit back. After I was feeling a bit blue about the end of summer, Ina, you came to the rescue...
Oh, how I CAN'T wait for her new book, Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics: Fabulous Flavor from Simple Ingredients, to be released on October 28th!...My heart skipped a beat and my face felt flush when I saw this on Amazon the other day! What a wonderful Fall surprise, Ina! Oh, how I look forward to perusing its lovely pages. Now, if we could only fast forward to the end of October... So long Summer...Hello Fall!
