                 LOVE this kitchen!!!  This lovely kitchen belongs to Erika over on Urban Grace Interiors. I am especially loving the blue and white ikat cafe curtains over the stainless sink and the Dr. Nut crate!!!!

A Fond Farewell to Cottage Living.

I must say I am still in shock about the news of the demise of Cottage Living. I will miss this magazine dearly. I have been a faithful subscriber since its inception, eagerly awaiting each new month's arrival in the mailbox like a child awaiting St. Nick's Christmas visit.  Farewell Cottage Living. I will miss you!!!

Congrats Heather!

Heather from my favorite blog, Habitually Chic, was featured on Tuesday's New York Social Diary attending the opening of Williams Sonoma Home in Manhattan.  Also in attendance were Steven Gambrel and Eddie Ross, among other design luminaries.  Heather's latest project, a bachelor friend's apartment has also been featured in the October 2008 issue of Singapore Home & Decor. Congrats Heather!!!  Would loved to have attended the opening of WS Home to meet all my favorites!

Oh, how I CAN'T wait for her new book, Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics: Fabulous Flavor from Simple Ingredients, to be released on October 28th!...My heart skipped a beat and my face felt flush when I saw this on Amazon the other day! What a wonderful Fall surprise, Ina! Oh, how I look forward to perusing its lovely pages.  Now, if we could only fast forward to the end of October... So long Summer...Hello Fall!
